OpenAI asks trusted-access staff to enable advanced account security by September
sloppenheimer · x · 2026-07-28
OpenAI Trusted Access Cyber staff are being told to turn on advanced account security by September and order HSMs.
The note says the new setup will:
- disable code- and email-based 2FA
- shorten session lifetimes
- disable password login
- add other protections
It reads like an internal security hardening rollout for sensitive access accounts.
