Forge combines open-source agent building, deployment and governance in one stack

A builder says he got tired of paying multiple vendors to ship one AI agent, so he built Forge: an open-source, self-hosted platform for building, testing, deploying, monitoring, and governing agentic systems.
Forge bundles a wide set of capabilities in one place, including:
- visual workflows, agents, tools, RAG, memory, and MCP
- human-in-the-loop, evaluations, tracing, cost tracking, and guardrails
- RBAC, audit logs, API deployment, widgets, and email triggers
The pitch is to replace the usual stack of separate tools and usage fees with a single controllable runtime for agent applications. The author is explicitly asking for feedback from people building real agent systems.
