A reply argues that Moonshot’s Kimi K3 tech report leaves too many infrastructure questions unanswered.
- Kimi K2.5 was reportedly trained on NVIDIA H800 clusters with 8 × 400 Gbps RoCE interconnects between nodes.
- By contrast, the K3 report is described as very light on hardware details.
- Because of that, the actual compute range and the contribution of each factor behind the claimed 2.5× scaling-efficiency gain remain unclear.
