OpenAI appears to be building a new Places section in ChatGPT, letting users share location and ask for nearby recommendations, weather, and travel ideas.
The screenshot shows a dedicated chatgpt.com/places page with a pinned Places entry in the sidebar and a prompt to turn on location-based discovery.
