Moonshot updates Kimi K3 license but withholds day-one support for workers.ai
michellechen · x · 2026-07-27
Moonshot says Kimi K3 has a new license, but workers.ai users won’t get day-0 support.
- Michelle Chen says the team has been working on redlines and wants to be transparent about the lack of immediate support.
- The model is still accessible through their AI gateway.
- The license excerpt shown in the image adds a commercial constraint: if a licensee or affiliate runs a Model-as-a-Service business and exceeds $20 million in aggregate revenue over any consecutive 12 months, a separate agreement with Moonshot AI is required before commercial use.
