Video-to-video workflow keeps blocking and camera motion while replacing all three characters
umesh_ai · x · 2026-07-27
A Video-to-Video workflow can transform a source clip without rebuilding it shot by shot.
The demo uses:
- 1 source video
- 3 character reference images, mapped to three different people
- 1 location reference image
- 1 text prompt
The workflow replaces all three people with new characters, moves the scene into a new environment, and still preserves the source clip’s blocking, camera movement, framing, timing, and overall pacing.
The author says this kind of control is useful for ad variations, e-commerce content, short-form stories, social posts, and remixes of trending videos. A short workflow video is also included showing how the references were mapped and how the final result was generated.
