Nvidia backs SSI in a long-term partnership centered on Vera Rubin access

Nvidia and Ilya Sutskever’s Safe Superintelligence (SSI) have entered a long-term strategic partnership, with Nvidia also taking an investment stake.
- SSI will get access to Nvidia’s Vera Rubin platform, which it says will expand compute capacity by an order of magnitude.
- The two companies will also collaborate on future compute platforms.
- Nvidia said it joined the partnership after receiving rare access to SSI’s closely guarded research.
- Financial terms were not disclosed.
