Community Buzz fork adds native Hermes Agent ACP integration and BYOH support
Teknium · x · 2026-07-27
A community fork of Buzz adds native Hermes Agent ACP integration on top of the BYOH architecture.
The release says it builds on Buzz PR #2773 and fills in the remaining Hermes runtime contracts, including:
- packaged release sidecars with real binaries
- a 45-second cold-start budget for native hermes-acp discovery
- MCP host isolation via HERMESACPSKIPCONFIGURED MCP=1
- process-group-safe teardown so Hermes/MCP/tool descendants do not get orphaned
It is explicitly not an official Block or Nous Research release.
