Nvidia is investing in Safe Superintelligence and, as part of the deal, will give the secretive lab access to enough GPUs to increase its compute by roughly tenfold.
The report says SSI had previously leaned mainly on Google TPUs and will now get access to Nvidia’s next-generation Vera Rubin platform. Financial terms were not disclosed, and the investment reportedly came after Nvidia reviewed SSI’s research more closely.
