Nvidia is making a substantial investment in Ilya Sutskever’s Safe Superintelligence and will supply enough GPUs to increase the lab’s compute by roughly tenfold.
- SSI had previously relied mainly on Google TPU hardware.
- The new long-term partnership gives SSI access to Nvidia’s next-generation Vera Rubin platform.
