Rescript: a weekend-built, open-source Descript alternative
- The author says Descript’s $24/month price inspired them to build Rescript over a single weekend with Fable.
- The app lets you edit video by editing the transcript: drop in a video, get local transcription with per-word timestamps and speaker labels, then delete words in the transcript to cut the corresponding clip.
