Shared Claude pages are being indexed, exposing dashboards, resumes, and API keys

Shared Claude artifacts are surfacing in public search results

The post says the issue is not limited to chats: apps, documents, dashboards, and internal tools published from Claude are being exposed through public URLs, and some of those pages are already indexed and searchable.

It warns that people have found sensitive material such as company dashboards, project plans with client names, resumes with home addresses and phone numbers, financial documents, payroll data, customer lists, internal wikis, contracts, and even API keys pasted into code.

The core point is that publishing an artifact via Claude’s sharing flow can make it effectively public if it is searchable or link-accessible, so users should treat it as a real privacy and security risk rather than a private draft space.
