From 7-Year Stagnation to Patent Filed in 2 Weeks via AI Agent

An indie developer shared how they used an autonomous AI agent (Hermes agent) to turn a 7-year-old idea for a tangle-free dog harness into a filed patent.
The project had previously stalled not on engineering, but on prior art searches, novelty judgment, and drafting the patent specification due to a lack of legal background. This month, by placing the AI agent in the driver's seat for these tasks and acting only in a review-and-correct capacity, the author successfully filed a provisional patent for about $65.
