US Commerce Dept Enforced Global Blackout on Anthropic Models, Lifted 19 Days Later

From June 12 to June 30, the Commerce Department hit Fable 5 and Mythos 5 with export controls immediately after launch. This forced a global blackout because Anthropic couldn't verify user nationality in real time.
Nineteen days later, the Commerce Department lifted the controls, and Fable 5 came back worldwide on July 1.
