AheadForm showed an ultra-lifelike humanoid robot at WAIC 2026
AheadForm unveiled a humanoid designed to look unsettlingly human at WAIC 2026 in Shanghai. According to the post, it can hold eye contact, blink, speak, and synchronize facial expressions with conversation.
The larger point is that humanoid robotics is shifting beyond walking, lifting, and warehouse work. The new race is increasingly about presence, social interaction, and how comfortable humans feel around machines that resemble us too closely.
