AMD and South Korea Partner on Heterogeneous Computing and Local NPU R&D

South Korean lawmaker Ha Jung-woo revealed that proposals made during his meeting with AMD CEO Lisa Su earlier this year have officially turned into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The collaboration focuses on efficient operation technologies for heterogeneous computing infrastructure, a core component of AI data centers. Additionally, AMD will engage in joint R&D and talent development with domestic South Korean NPU companies to foster a win-win situation.
