Tencent has reportedly tightened access to HunyuanImage 3.0 Instruct by requiring a Chinese phone number for verification, blocking non-Chinese users who previously could sign in with Google or Outlook email and use the model for free.
The poster says the model stood out not just for quality, but for being far less censored than many Western image models, which made it more usable for edgy prompts. They ask for similarly strong, free alternatives with lighter censorship.
