Alibaba’s rumored Qwen Work has quietly surfaced at qwenwork.cn before an official launch, and the product looks like an independent office agent rather than a simple DingTalk sub-feature.
What it appears to do
- Deeply integrates with DingTalk: messages, groups, calendar, to-dos, docs, knowledge base, attendance, approvals, and enterprise data.
- Supports Mac and Windows desktop clients, plus a planned web version.
- Uses multimodal capabilities for tasks like image/video/audio/music generation, data analysis, charts, Word/PPT/PDF handling, and even publishing generated webpages with custom domains and database connections.
- Includes cron-like scheduled tasks and workflow hooks, with examples such as daily schedule digests, AI agent briefings, and work reports.
Extensibility
- Connectors are implemented via MCP and already include DingTalk, Vercel, Canva, PolarDB, Supabase, AMap cloud tools, Qichacha, and several legal data providers.
- The product also ships with 73 curated skills and several packaged “expert toolkits” for consulting, investment research, legal, finance, product management, and more.
Pricing observed
- Free: 2,000 credits on signup, 100 daily logins credits, 5 web tasks, 1GB cloud storage.
- Standard: ¥98/month.
- Pro: ¥198/month.
The author says the product is already fairly complete, but the official launch timing is still unclear and the feature set is changing rapidly.
