CXMT’s Shanghai debut sent its shares up 472% on Monday, after the memory chipmaker raised up to 66.6 billion yuan ($9.8 billion) in what Bloomberg says is the second-largest IPO in China’s history.
The stock surge made CXMT one of the country’s largest listed firms onshore, underscoring strong investor demand for a domestic memory-chip champion.
