A WSJ report says Nvidia is in talks to provide about $250 billion in backing for OpenAI as part of a massive data-center project in Ohio.

The project is described as a 10-gigawatt campus that could cost more than $500 billion in total, including the chips inside the data centers. The reported guarantee would cover the data-center lease and debt, while Nvidia is also said to be discussing financing for chip purchases that could reach $350 billion. The site would become the largest data-center project announced so far.
