Long-running agents hit race conditions after immutable event logs

Replying to a post about immutable event logs, the author says the next problem in long-running agent systems is handling race conditions.
The point is that event logs alone are not enough: once agents run for long periods and multiple actions overlap, concurrency control becomes the real systems challenge.
