YC says this year's Startup School shifted beyond big stage talks and added hundreds of small-group sessions with YC partners and top founders.
The goal was to respond to feedback from last year: attendees wanted more direct interaction, so the event now includes breakout sessions on many topics instead of only keynote-style presentations.
