Use agents like systems, not coworkers: keep watching them closely, reset their context regularly, and surround them with deterministic tools that catch hallucinations.
The core point is that you should not “go to the water cooler” and wait for agents to finish. Instead, vigilance plus guardrails is what makes them effective.
