Senior Engineers Ditching AI Code Reviews: Is the Practice Fading?

As AI-generated code becomes prevalent, traditional code review is facing challenges. Blogger @GergelyOrosz noted that a highly experienced engineer recently decided to stop reviewing all AI-generated code, finding the practice pointless.
Another developer agreed, arguing that code review always had limited utility for experienced teams beyond educating juniors. In the AI era, engineers need to focus more on good testing, design reviews, and knowing whether to trust what they built.
