Even the big labs still can’t beat Civ VI deity or multiplayer
Danielle Fong says it’s still unsolved for top labs to beat Civilization VI at deity level, let alone in multiplayer. She framed the gap as a reason to want better AI opponents that can learn through self-play, and said she bought the game for that experiment.
