A Reddit user says they are using ChatGPT Sol to prototype several small game ideas in HTML before choosing one to build for Steam Next Fest.
They plan to make around five prototypes, test which one lands, and then turn the winner into a fuller game. The current prototype is a rough 3D platformer built with ChatGPT and Blockbench.
- The game is called Yorick the Life Reaper.
- The author says the workflow helped define the core loop, three planets plus a tutorial area, mechanics, procedural systems, and a skill tree.
- The post is as much about AI-assisted ideation and rapid prototyping as it is about the game itself.
