After two days of testing Opus 5, antirez says Anthropic has largely closed the gap with its strongest rivals, but he still does not see it as clearly better than Sol. He also says the chat experience feels weaker than before, with awkward jargon-heavy responses and less of the communication quality that earlier Opus versions had.
