AI changes the migration calculus for infrastructure: what used to be a lock-in and developer-experience problem is now something an agent can absorb.
The author says Cloudflare Durable Objects used to feel risky because of lock-in and bad DX, but AI makes those concerns less important. With agents handling the painful parts of Wrangler and the runtime, moving off becomes much easier.
