Andrew Ng’s open-source AI coworker, OpenWorker, is now in open beta and aims to turn model outputs into finished work.
- It runs on desktop and can use GPT, Claude, Gemini, GLM, or local models via Ollama.
- The product offers 25+ integrations and can be used directly from Slack.
- The positioning is not just chat: it can draft polished documents, send Slack replies with numbers, update calendars, and triage inboxes.
- It supports both cloud and fully local setups, with data staying on the user’s machine except for the chosen model and integrations.
