A long Reddit investigation argues that PewDiePie’s Odysseus repository may have been presented as a simple “built bit by bit” personal project, while its public Git history tells a very different story.

- Later commits allegedly added more MiniMax-specific support.
- Within 38 hours of a PR proposing first-class hosted MiniMax support, the README hero image was edited so the featured model label changed from DeepSeek to MiniMax-M2.7.
- The post also claims a large star count later disappeared quickly, without public explanation from GitHub.
