A developer used Claude to optimize a racing game's replay system so it can now simulate 3,000 concurrent races in real time.
- The game had recorded more than 3,000 races in a day.
- The previous replay system became laggy after only a few hundred races.
- After using Opus 5, the developer says the playback simulation was dramatically sped up.
- The result now runs at 60 fps in a web browser with all 3,000 simulations concurrently.
