Jensen Huang says NVIDIA signed a letter on why open models matter, arguing that AI will transform every industry and be built by every country.
The letter says open models improve safety and cybersecurity, speed up innovation and diffusion, and support sovereignty. It calls for both frontier closed models and frontier open models, plus broad community work on benchmarking, red-teaming, and safeguards.
