OpenAI’s new voice mode works on desktop, but users say it sounds less natural

A Reddit user says OpenAI’s new and improved voice mode feels noticeably less natural than the previous version.
They do like that it now works from desktop projects, but the current flow is clunky: they can only start it from the overview of all projects, not from inside a specific folder.
In short, the desktop integration is useful, but the voice quality appears to have regressed.
