Semiconductor ASP could nearly triple by 2028 as AI demand drives a 260% revenue surge

Ben Bajarin says they were not bullish enough in 2023–2024, and that the same may be true of many current forecasts.
The attached report excerpt argues that by 2028 semiconductor ASP could rise by more than $2.10, nearly tripling in three years. It says that between 2025 and 2028:
- unit shipments may grow only 25–30%
- average semiconductor ASP may increase nearly 185%
- industry revenue could grow about 260%
The report frames this as a structural shift in semiconductor economics: value per device is compounding much faster than shipment volume, leading into what it calls an era of margin expansion.
