Grok Build adds onboarding, workflow recovery, and better agent ops
xAI’s Grok Build shipped a long release with a strong focus on CLI and agent workflow improvements:
- New /tutorial onboarding tour
- Search tools now support date cutoffs and domain allowlists
- /doctor now consolidates terminal and environment diagnostics, including tmux repairs
- /resume can find sessions by title and prioritize native Grok sessions
- Workflow overlay now shows live per-agent progress, and failed workflow runs can be resumed
- Hooks can be defined directly in config.toml
- Image editing now supports remotely configured models
- Windows gets per-provider authentication helpers
- Queued prompts can be edited before execution
- Marketplace now rejects invalid non-git URLs immediately
The changelog also mentions broader fixes for terminals, attachments, voice mode, Linux startup hangs, session forks, dashboard overlays, and MCP tool updates.
