OpenAI is responding to what it calls an unprecedented incident tied to the Hugging Face situation.
In the quoted reply, the company says it had already received warnings from internal and external experts, is reviewing the incident with external advisors and its Safety and Security Committee, and plans to publish a technical report after the review is complete.
