Former SpaceX CIO says AI cut his platform team from 175 people to 6
Ken Venner, now CTPO at Senra Systems, says the real change is not that AI simply replaced workers. Instead, it collapsed the coordination overhead that used to require large teams just to keep humans aligned.

At SpaceX, the core platform team had 175 people. At Senra, the equivalent work is done by 6. The point, he says, is that once coordination costs fall, the organization itself can be designed much smaller.
