Why most enterprises should build on agent platform components, not the platform itself

Most enterprises should not build a full agent platform from scratch

The post argues that what looks like a single “agent platform” actually breaks into four hard problems:

Each area has its own tooling, standards, and maturity curve, and they are changing fast enough that an internal platform can become obsolete before it stabilizes.

The recommendation is to build on top of platform components instead of trying to own the whole stack. Companies should invest internally in the parts that are truly business-specific: their data, policy, workflows, and domain logic.
