AI is becoming an ecosystem, and the winner may be the best evaluator

AryHHAry · x · 2026-07-25

The post argues that the AI hype cycle should be treated like a wave function: don’t collapse it too early.

It predicts that by 2026, agentic AI will erode software companies, quantum computing will still be “almost useful,” the EU AI Act will be fully in force, and Indonesia will be drafting national AI ethics. The bigger point is conceptual: AI is shifting from a tool to an environment, with feedback loops, phase transitions, and emergent properties that humans can’t fully predict or control.

The author says the next five years will be decided less by who builds the best model and more by who builds the strongest governance architecture for self-organizing models. In that world, evaluation becomes the key lever — the winner will be whoever has the most robust measurement framework, because measurement is what turns potential into reality.
