Claude Opus 5 beats other models on 3D destruction scenes
A comparison test asked four models to generate three self-contained HTML scenes with real physics:
- a tornado swallowing a field
- a wrecking ball demolishing an apartment block
- an overloaded truck collapsing a truss bridge
According to the post, Opus 5 got all three right and did so for $1.40 over 55.9K tokens. The other models were cheaper or similarly priced, but their physics and scene behavior were weaker: Fable 5 cost $2.82, Kimi K3 cost $0.55, and GPT 5.6 cost $0.31.
The author says Opus was the only model that handled all three tasks convincingly, with believable debris, collapse behavior, and object interaction.
