Users say Claude and Gemini are removing reasoning summaries they liked

The poster recalls being delighted by Gemini 2.5 Pro’s reasoning when it launched, saying they learned a lot by reading it.
They then complain that the feature was removed, calling it part of the “enshittification” of AI. The quoted post says Claude recently removed reasoning summaries as well, so users can no longer expand the reasoning output.
