Rumor has it that Anthropic has released the Opus 5 model. It allegedly offers a Fast mode running at 2.5x default speed for twice the base price, with no data-retention requirements for general API access. It also becomes their most capable generally available model for scientific research, with bio requests previously blocked on Fable 5 now routing to Opus 5.
