Anthropic's Claude Opus 5 is rolling out inside GitHub Copilot across the app, CLI, and VS Code.
The post is a straightforward availability update: the model is now being surfaced in developer tooling rather than just as a standalone chat product. For coding-heavy users, that means Opus 5 can be used directly in Copilot-driven workflows without changing environments.
