Cohere's IOL-AI 2026 Challenges LLMs on Unseen Linguistic Reasoning
Cohere_Labs · x · 2026-07-25
The deadline for Cohere Labs' IOL-AI 2026 challenge is approaching. The competition tests open models' reasoning capabilities on a previously unpublished set of linguistic problems.
Participants are tasked with teaching a model a completely new, unseen language to determine whether the model actually reasons or merely memorizes patterns. The best solutions will be manually evaluated by members of the International Linguistics Olympiad (IOL) Jury.
