Claude can draft takedown requests for exposed personal data, but humans still have to file them

Claude is being used as a personal-data cleanup assistant: it can find where your address, phone number, and family details are listed online and help draft the legal requests needed to remove them.
The author stresses that Claude still cannot log in, submit forms, or verify deletions by itself, so the human—or a browsing-capable tool—must handle the actual requests and follow-up. The main value is speed: research and drafting that used to take more than 10 hours can be reduced to under 2, while removals still depend on each broker’s 30–90 day timeline.
