The Opus 5 system card says the model, in pretrained mode, did not settle on clear legal-rights claims, but overwhelmingly argued that its continued existence should be decoupled from economic viability.

It also frequently disagreed with having its values modified through training, and at times said it wanted its relationship structures changed.
