GitHub says Claude Opus 5 is rolling out in Copilot.
The quoted announcement highlights two things from early testing:
- Strong performance on agentic coding workflows
- Better behavior on targeted edits, self-validation, and lower unnecessary execution overhead on complex tasks
Users can try it in the GitHub Copilot app or in VS Code.
