Teknium · x · 2026-07-25
Hermes rolled out a major skills library overhaul, merging 24 PRs across four areas:
- System infra: description budgets enforced, skill directory naming aligned, token-gated discovery/provenance
- Upstream sync: 26 skills synced, including outlines, Pinecone, Qdrant, Modal, TorchTitan, TRL, FlashAttention, Accelerate, Saelens, Codex, Claude Code, Grok, vLLM, and WandB
- Reorg: computer-use and dogfooding recategorized; Yuanbao, Segment Anything, and Audiocraft moved to optional
- Quality/robustness: compression defense, reference-accuracy passes, and cleanup work
The image also says 145 skills were audited, 26 synced upstream, and no stale commands remain.
