NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang posted his first X update sharing an NVIDIA-signed letter on why open models matter.
He argues that AI will transform every industry, power every company, and be built by every country. The letter says open models improve safety and cybersecurity, speed up innovation and diffusion, and support sovereignty. Its conclusion: the world needs both frontier closed models and frontier open models.
