Swiss AI Initiative says it is releasing Apertus 1.5, described as a multimodal and reasoning update to its first v1 model.
The team says the new release is meant to build a foundation for a future regular open-model development program at scale. The image shows the Apertus branding alongside EPFL, ETH Zürich, and CSCS.
